About us » Katarina Paunović
Born in 1974 in Belgrade (capital city of Serbia) where finished primary school and Gymnasium. Fluently speaking English, and also has some knowledge of Russian.
She developed interest in photography at very early age thanks to her father who was an amateur photographer himself.
She became interested in wildlife photography by the end of 2005, fascinated by birds during autumn migration. Since march 2006, she is actively birding around the country and occasionally taking participation in bird ringing camps as well. Apart from wildlife she also likes to photograph landscapes.
With desire to share her fascination with beauties of wildlife, together with friend Milan Ružić, she founded Wild-Serbia web site. The gear she uses at the moment is Canon 350d and Canon 400mm f5.6 lens.
Her other interests and hobbies include: web site design, camping, biking and pets (tropical fish, parrots/parakeets, dogs and small rodents).
